Take a moment today even for a few minutes to 'just be’ still and quiet…….. if you find it hard to meditate, stay still and wait…. let all the crazy thoughts and demands running round you head carry on - ignore them. Breathe deeply for a few minutes and be calm. Then carry on with your crazy day. As the year starts off to a rocky start - if you listened to the doom and gloom mongers we need to batten down the hatches for a long cold dark night of the soul. No ... look for that piece of joy and hope each day and focus on that. Treat yourself everyday even if it’s only a few minutes enjoying a cup of coffee, or staring out of the window and daring to dream. Carve out a niche of joy for the rest of the year - as I write this its snowing, windy and cold - but the sun still manages to burst through shining its rays of warmth.
