Any followers of Jesus out there?

I'd be happy to post and let you know that you are not alone. I've been a seller on Ebay now for about three years. I have had both encouragement from others and have also got a few rude comments as well. That's ok, my Ebay allows me to stay home with my daughter and still make ends meet. It is one of God's many blessings just as she is a gift from God. Every sweet deal I find that allows me to make a proffit is thanks to him. Every bid or sale is thanks to him. I am fortunate because I know who to thank for the many blessings in my life.
I haven't looked at the blogs since last week and as soon as I did I saw your post. May I say thank and God Bless you for posting it. Simply reading your post has been an encouragement and a blessing to my morning. Praise God and Bless his name!

Yes I follow God, And YES I am PROUD of it. if someone doe'snt follow him thats fine, But keep the rudeness to yourselves. We don't go out of our way when dealing with you to make rude comments. Or at least I personally won't do that.

Comicsouljah and Scott, I just wanted to say one more little thing. There has been a reunion of sorts here because although we may not have realized it, we've just met brothers and sisters we didn't even know existed. I think thats a pretty wonderful thing in itself. God Bless ~ Tami

I am with you all, yes I am a spirit filled Jesus follower too. I truly believe it was GOD that directed me and hounded me to start selling on ebay. I was forced to retire on disability last year after a 35 year career as a Nurse. I worked most of those years for a Christian Charity hospital, so the retirement was up to me. It took all I had to pay off everything, so I could live on Social Security, I was really having a hard time making ends meet, most of the time they were not meeting. I was buying on ebay, because I could find things I needed, but one morning I just found my self filling out all the info. for selling!! Now it has been slow this last 6 weeks, but I am still here and that voice is still saying; "LISTEN TO ME, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE WHEN YOU NEEDED ME". So I am going to shut up now and be still and LISTEN to HIM. Thanks for the ear

HI, just ran across your post. There are many many Christians on ebay. In fact there is a group Christian Sellers United that you can join on the ebay groups. Plenty of inspiration and support. And for all of you who have commented, we live our lives to worship and bring glory to God in all we do. We live in a hurting world where they need to know the love of Jesus. Most people are just lashing out because of hurt or anger or some stronghold that has them bond. But they will know us by our LOVE. So love the hurting people, don't be offended by what they say or do and know that the enemy just wants to use them to weaken your spirit and testimony. Do more for your customers then what is expected in your ebay business, let God provide for your needs and watch what happens!!!! You are all a true blessing and God has you doing ebay for a purpose. That is what happened for me. It came in the form of a dream. NEVER in my wildest imagination would I have seen myself doing ebay. ME a baby boomer who barely knew how to do my emails!!!!!!! But God is our experience and teacher and believe it or not, He guided me to where I am today and He keeps me moving on to new levels.

Wow! You all absolutely rock! Thank you very much for your comments. It is actually inspirational to know that you are out there. My view of God is very big, but just got bigger, because I know he is working in all of your lives. I suppose it is human nature to develop a sort of tunnel vision and become preoccupied with your own life, and thereby feel alone. I guess that's what's happened to me. So, thank you for pulling me out of the muck and mire of my own self-centeredness.

I started reading a book today called "Your This Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen. I made it through just to the first chapter and was inspired. Has anyone read it? If not, I suggest you check it out. It's all about enlarging your vision. It's about actually seeing the greatness in yourself that God sees in you. The greatness that God has placed in each one of us. Many times, the one thing that keeps us from achieving greatness is ourselves and our low self-image. We don't accomplish things, because we don't have the confidence in ourselves. If we saw ourselves as God sees us, our lives would change immediately.
