Cya With Shipping Cost Going Up, Ebay is Expecting A Little MuchPosted May-25-08 05:30:58 PDT Of course with the price of gas going up, so does shipping. We have not adjusted our prices on shipping. When we set our prices on shipping, we figured out the cost to ship the weight, and added a dollor for someone to go get this item out of the container, package, & post to buyer. Not a lot of money considering packing and all. So now as we have not raised prices, gas has now taken a part of our dollar for shipping. Now to the point of the topic. We get feedback from buyer of the item. (Hummm lets look at this) Buyer has no idea of what it takes to ship, unless this buyer sells also. Let them take a item to the post office after they put gas into a car, then spend time running to the post office, they wouldn't have a glimps of what it takes to do this day in and out. Now ebay gives the buyer the honers of saying " How is the shipping charge from this seller." Why does Ebay not just scale what the seller has charged themselves. All that info is there for shipping charge and cost of shipping. How can someone work in a DSR structure when the odds are one sided? We can not help what shipping cost! The buyer should not hold account for our DSR info in this area. Ebay should be fare and adjust this feedback section.
