Hi,

I have recently decided to paint some of my pictures under a pseudonym (not my real name) for a variety of reasons. Artists through the centuries have sometimes done this. What are the advantages and disadvantages I wonder?

Any thoughts?

I must tell you - I felt a little hesitant on first 'coming out' wearing all three of these hats!

These were the concerns that were running through my mind for quite a while:

• Would people take me seriously with anything when I am not focusing my life on one thing only?
• Would I become a 'jack of all trades - master of none'?
• Would I be able to give each thing its due attention?
• Is it actually possible to do a variety of thing successfully - even to a level of excellence?

What are your thoughts - I would love to hear from you!
