Most Recent Posts why would U purchase an e-book and not look at it?Posted Aug-16-07 07:01:41 PDT As you know, I share my e-books with fellow bloggers who let me know there e-mails. Send me a message thru eBay and I'll send you a link as soon as I can. Anyway, all these freebies are always viewed, eventually, but I have a few buyers who have never looked. They even gave me positive feedback and have never complained about not getting the "view" e-mail. I don't get it. Yes, I cropped her face off, I didn't want the sign in the background to clutter the pattern, plus this photo is in bad bad bad shape. Anyway...My great grandma made this shall. And I've just found her notes on hairpin lace. I think she hand copied it out of a book or something. I've typed them all up, including a clipping from the frame form and her notes on making the hairpin frame with real hairpins. I've formatted this to be easy on the eye and included both the photo above, a detail of the stitch and a diagram of the basic hairpin stitch. as well. I fiddled around with the pattern to test workability, and though I'm too busy with other projects and making these digital patterns to complete this shawl, I do know that the instructions work and are correct and easy enough to follow, for an advanced crochet hobbiest. I've posted this for sale starting at $5. I'll give a $1 discount to blogging friends! This is not a project for a novice. I have a different set of patterns that are better for beginners and start at $.45 Wish me luck!
