The late 60's 70's and 80's we had what I think was the best music of all time bar none! Bands like The Who, Led Zep, Heart, Starz, Moxy. Legs Diamond, Bad Co. ,Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Deep Purple, Triuimph, Chicago,Toto, j Giels, and many others.  These bands outsold most others except the peter frampton live and forgive me I should have mentioned Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon. ! Boston debut with over 17 million sales a record!! Pink Floyd had the top 100 of the Billboard Charts for over 2 years! In my opinion the bands of today can never match these in talent or sales!!!There are some good bands out there but I can't see bands staying together like The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Legs Diamond, Moxy, who are all still together in one form or another.  Starz a great live band but thanks to the record industry only received minimal notice ! I do like bands like Nightwish, Epica, After Forever, and a few others but I don't see these bands going the distance like the fore runners! But only time will tell and Long Live Rock N Roll!
