McDonald's fix....

In case you missed it!

My husband and I were traveling back from Texas and happened to see some wonderful golden arches in the distance.  Mmmmmm.  McDonald's iced coffee!  Quickly we pulled in and I went to "refresh" myself.

A sign on the bathroom door read:

"Please do not put tissue in the toilet"

I have a rather sick, bizarre sense of humor.  Laughing to myself I contemplated wadding up a fresh handful of toilet paper, carrying it out to the front counter, neatly depositing it there and remarking that the notice in the bathroom said to NOT put tissue in the toilet and could they kindly dispose of that for me?  (Imagine the horrified expressions!)  My other option would have been to ask for a "to go" bag.

Better sense prevailed and I restricted myself to sharing my weird thoughts with my husband.  He suggested I restrain myself from acting on my thoughts.  Go figure!

Where does glue come from?

Not from this guy!  I just had to repost this one!

Last night my husband and I saved this horse from the glue factory!  Sadly, his owner passed away day before yesterday.  This old boy was going to be sent to the glue factory unless he found a good home.  Just last year he was still doing great at ropings.  He's only 18 years old, dead broke and bomb proof and will make a wonderful first horse for my hubby's little girl.  Isn't he just precious?  With 3 saddle pads and a nice saddle you can't even tell he's swaybacked....

Good morning :-)

I'm just peeking in.  I'm actually home for the day today.  Meeting with the insurance representative on my husband's stolen truck....which was found night before last.  Only a skeleton remains.  There's still not any word on the brand new cargo trailer that was attached to the truck when it was stolen.  In Oklahoma, trailers do not have to be tagged.  It makes them an easy target for theft.  Quite likely we will NEVER see the cargo trailer and unless somebody moves to another state and tries to tag it we will never know what happened with it.

I hope everybody's morning is off to a wonderful start.  Stop in and have some coffee.

Finest quality dead sea bath salts

Our youngest client and a burn survivor!

This little boy (Christopher) is a burn survivor! 3rd-4th degree body burns over 85.6% of his body. Read what his mother has to say about the CJ Skin Care bath salt product:

"I used the clay based salts with Christopher....... he came out after only about 15 minutes feeling soft and his dried up area on his lower abdomen was gone. .....Even once a week will improve his grafts! Still today he was not dried out......".

And a week later, this follow up:

" He still has not had ANY dry scaly spots on his graft since the ONE time I have used this so far. He was literally splitting and bleeding on his abdominal grafts and has not done so at all since. He is just now, after 1 week, showing signs there of dryness, so he will get another bath today in the rest of it. Thank You!

Just peeking in...

Still on the road but I have access to a computer for a bit.  Stop in and say hello :-)

Good morning :-)

Just peeking in while I have a few minutes.  We got home last night and we're packing to head out again this morning.  Such a whirlwind!  How's everybody been?
