Taking good pictures

Taking good pictures is harder than it seems I am finding out.  My items look great under my natural sunlight mimicking lights inside my house, but somehow my camera, no matter how much it cost (LOL) doesn't seem to capture all of the details.

Maybe I am using too much light?  I will have to research this.  Three OTT lights cluttered around my items in the background is probably too much, LOL.

Well, I will keep taking one hundred pictures of everything at all angles and then try to pick out the best ones.

Being a perfectionist can be a curse at times, LOL, but my customers seem to like this part of me, when they comment on the fine details in my work.

Hello! Are you using a digital camera? Try different angles, and different light. What you see in the camera, isn't always what comes out. Hope you have a good photo editor to adjust shades and colors.

I have find that taking pictures under the 9 - 11am sunlight are the best. Reason been is the sun is not over our heads therefore will not create a shade behind the object been pictured.
When taking these pictures you always want to have the sun behind your back, always. The sunlight should be hitting directly on the subject. I also use a photo tent for even greater pics (i'll be selling these soon). When i use the tent i make sure i place it outside when the sun is at 12:00 noon. I never bought extra lights or accesories for my tent. I use the sun
