Hope this finds everyone doing well and having great success on ebay, whether buying or selling.  Unfortunately I have a lot more success buying than selling, just ask my paypal account! 

Tried something new today... an explosion box.. its kinda cute and I may end up making more for my children to document their children's halloween. 

Have been thinking about how amazing this world wide web is.  How incredible is it that we can meet so many people, particularly people with the same interests, as we do on the internet.  Ebay is fantastic... not so fantastic for my paypal account (another amazing concept)... but how wonderful is it that we can buy and sell so easily and find just about anything you need.  I certainly wouldn't be selling cards in my little town here and ebay has given me the opportunity to share my creativity with others. 

Thanks to ebay and forums and blogs, I've made a lot of friends and have learned a lot about life itself with just the occasional corresponding.  

And thanks to all the wonderful paper crafters on ebay right now, I'm still up at 1:30 in the morning because I've been reading blogs and looking at cards for hours!!

Surely you bloggers need a handmade halloween card or two.  I've got a card ending today and in a couple of days really cute free standing pop up cards.  Of course, there are other cards, too.

Pictures don't do the cards justice.  In real life the colors and papers are really nice and the overall feel of the card and its heft compared to store bought is so nice.  You'll be hooked on handmade if you get one and if you actually give them to someone they will certainly display them and save them.  Take a look.

Got myself a new granddaughter today!  That's 2 new granddaughters in the last 8 weeks, for a total of 4 grandchildren (all girls) under the age of 3!!  This little girl was 3 weeks early and only 5#4. The little girl born less than 8 weeks ago had open heart surgery on her 6 week birthday and is home and doing fantastic!   So I went to visit babies today and then came home tonight to work on this card and I think it came out really well, using fibers for the bird's nest...  item #320279486262..

I can't believe I haven't discovered the ebay blogs before.  Yet, today I was clicking around trying to just find out a little more about a seller who does amazing work (yep.. it was Trudy I was looking for since there are now 2 of them in this handmade card community) and low and behold, I found the blogs.  REading one blog can lead to another and before you know it you have stumbled across all kinds of information and useful commentaries.  I love the friendships that can build on the internet, especially, since I live either at work and/or on the internet or at my craft table and don't really have close bonds in the real world, other than my family.  I hope to get to know everyone a little better and to continue to be a part of the community.  I've already made a couple of 'friends' with my ventures into card selling.
