Most Recent Posts Saturation of a Good Thing !Posted Mar-17-08 09:24:54 PDT I have been a customer of Jim Frost's Frost Cutlery Company for 15 years and I have always admired his willingness to try something new. My family and I have had over 6000 items and approx 350 to 450 were different models they design and or make. What I can ot handle is saturation of a good thing just look here on ebay at any given time you will find about 50,000 listings for cutlery items. But when you research deeper you will find there are a ton of listings selling the same old Frost products and thier is not even a few cents difference in these sllers prices too boot. I say the saturation process is pure lazyness on the part of these sellers except for the few that might pick up a lot or 2 of Frost knives at a feamarket or yard sale. Nothing I hate more is redundancy in ebay listings, be creative, be original but most of all be yourself in listing these items. Frost Cutlery also needs to take a look at what inventory is here on ebay and maybe create a forum or blog of thier own so we thier faithfull customers can actually move these blades in a manor that everyone can make a buck or two and not just ebay, paypal or the few power-sellers that just seem to sell product no matter what :) I will always be a frost customer/collector and would personally like to thank Jim Frost and his crew for giving the small-time sellers like myself a chance to be part of this awesome way of life. |
