Most Recent Posts Dishonest peoplePosted May-05-08 14:47:26 PDT You know, I am a very honest and truthful person. I would NEVER ever be dishonest on purpose. I had an incident with a customer on Ebay where her item was temp. lost in the mail and I was SOOO upset. I went above and beyond to find it for her and was losing my mind. We did find the item and all was good. Then in mid-April I sold an item to someone who just would NOT pay. It was 3 days after the auction ending and I finally sent an email to the cusotmer to please pay for the item. Person said they would pay that day. Much later that day I see that they paid for the item with an echeck. I had to wait for item to clear. My Ebay said it was not paid for until the echeck clears. So, I waited a few days. Still it did not clear. A few days more I see that it says it wont clear until May 5th (thats today) I couldnt figure out why so i called paypal. They said it was because they had tried to take money from the buyers account and it basically bounced and didnt clear. They said they would try again in 3 days. I contacted the buyer to let them know and ask them if maybe they had another way to pay. They didnt. So after 7 more days, I filed a non-payment. Buyer started to send me multiple emails asking me to take it off, undo it and being rude to me about how I was being unfair. I did not think I was being unfair, the item auction ended 14 days before and I still had not been paid. (NO I had not sent the item yet but still) Anyway I received 10 emails in one day from this buyer, harrassing me about reversing it and giving the money back. MONEY that I had NOT received yet. I had to contact ebay about this person and they were blocked from buying from me again. I received negative feedback from this person to boot. THEN this week, I sold a toy to another person. This buyer sent me an email stating that the toy was broken. And although it was NOT broken when I shipped it, believed him. He also stated that he would not give me bad feedback if I refunded his money in full. I emailed him back, told him I was so sorry, YES I would refund his money but could he please send the toy back to me. I even offered to pay for the shipping home. He didnt respond. I had already refunded his money and after 2 days again asked him for the toy back. He did finally get back to me and told me he had thrown the toy away. I was slightly upset since I had asked him for the toy back BEFORE and I had asked for it back in the same email I agreed to refund his money. I even left posative feedback for him, thinking he was a nice guy and being HONEST with me. Then two days ago, he left me negative feedback saying I was dishonest. I dont know for sure he was not truthful but it seems fishy that he made a threat before I even knew anything about the toy being broken (saying he would leave poor feedback if I didnt reply his way) and also fishy that he threw a product away that was supposedly defective. I mean you cant walk into a toysrus and say, "I bought this toy a few days ago, took it out of the box and NOW want my money back because it was broken... o and I threw it away." Stores dont work that way why would anyone else? O and this guy has left negative feedback for a ton of people. So TWO negative feedbacks in one week. UGH!!!! I do my best to be upfront and honest. Why do I get some weirdos that just want to be jerks? |
