Most Recent Posts The Bond knitting MachinePosted May-22-08 18:30:19 PDT When I was little, i remember that my mom had a knitting machine that i was not aloud to touch. A few years ago, in my 30s, when i started to hand-knit again, i remember that machine and started to search the internet for one. I found the Bond Knitting Machine and purchased it online. When I got it, I couldn't believe how cheese it was. Still, I watch the tape and spent a whole week trying to make it work. It finally did!!! I made hats and ponchos galore in it during these last few years. I even got a second one for spare parts. On Ebay later, I purchased other knitting machines (solid medal), but non of them has been so easy to use as my first machine. I got a passap duamatic that was so heavy and big that i had to get rid of it. Same with a few others that didn't work right because they were so old and worn down. If anyone at there is having trouble with their Bond Knitting Machine, don't give up. It is a good machine to learn to machine knit, you just have to get the technique going. :) |
