One small step for me; One giant leap for my future

Overwhelming Blog Response; Keeping on top of your game

Yesterday I wrote my first blog post with the slightest idea that I would get any comments. You cannot believe how ecstatic I was to find that there were 5 comments on my first blog post! I haven't looked at how I received more than 34 views, but surely enough eBay is doing a great job of even keeping new blogs in front of everyone's eyes. Thanks eBay and to those who commented!

Now for those of you with an exceptionally high feedback score (I think > 400 is high >.<) what tips could you give me to receive feedback cheaply and fast?

What do you guys do to keep on top of your game, especially in electronics where items are high-priced, low-margin and with fierce competition (non-feedback related)?

well, now that they have done away with penny ebooks, getting fb isnt quite as quick and easy. I reccomend selling a few 99 cent items of good quality, and buying a few as well, paying promptly and having good transactions. this willspeed your fb up.

Well, i dont know if you have BEEN to the main blog page, but theres a big blog world out there for you to explore, with DOZENS AND DOZENS of really good bloggers who are always willing to lend a hand.
that said, dont feed the trolls, they BITE!
WELCOME TO THE BLOGS!

Sorry about that pegonthe-bay. Didn't mean to leave you guys out. I forgot that feedback, I believe is based on positive transactions. So 287 is a crap load of transactions O.O. I wonder if I'll get to that in one year. Hmm.

The quickest way to build your feedback is to buy buy buy...the idea is to buy low and sell high..if all your going to sell is electronics your going to be in for a tough road here on e-bay there are some very large sellers that have the market in these items and are buying containers in bulk, very hard to compete against them, with most electronics the shipping does not make it worth buying online, now if you can find a niche market (like used backup systems) you can make some money, but you have to have a steady supply to become known as a top end seller...Best of luck in your new endeavor..oh and like peg said...dont be lazy like him..LOL>>>

Wally is correct as well, but fdbk under 200 does not give confidence.
Buy from different sellers.
Donot under estimate fdbk.
negative to another and everyone knows.
A lot of low fdbk sellers are the best-but as mark said , buy things for fdbk.
Careful of fdbk left-we do know- the star rating as well, easy toread if experienced.

No problem techguy, :) I would probably be well over 1000 by now if I weren't so lazy LOL

Tip#1 SHOULD have been, honesty and courteous customer service is ALWAYS important.

There are alot of dishonest sellers AND buyers on Ebay, just be careful and read the listings AND the feedbacks and if you are unclear about something, don't be afraid to ask the seller questions, if they don't want to answer them, then they aren't a very good seller.

As a seller, make sure your listings are correct and concise and hold lots of info about the product (lots of pictures don't hurt either)

Tip#1-A advertise (even if its just on the blogs here, because LOTS of people who don't actually blog read them everyday) It also helps to get your name in the search engines easier too.

One more thing, make sure that your listings don't go against Ebay's policies because even if Ebay doesn't catch them, there are some bitter people that will report you.

Maybe its just those people they don't LIKE that they report? I guess just watch yourself, as in any business, people can be crude on Ebay.
