Your answer is probably 'Yes, but surely it's just another scam?' Well, rest assured, this isn't a scam, you can genuinely get these products (and others too) for free. With Christmas approaching, you could surprise a loved one with the latest iPod and it wouldn't have cost you anything! How does it work? 1. Register with a site that offers these free gifts, by clicking on an image below. 2. You then need to complete an offer from an advertiser. This doesn't have to cost you a penny but is essential for you to be eligible to get your free gift, as this is how the site generates revenue. For example, you could sign up to a two week free trial of LOVEFiLM, an online DVD rental service, open a current account with HSBC or apply for a GM credit card. There are other offers available too, such as Gala Bingo, that require a £5 deposit. 3. You then need to refer your friends (using your referral link) and get them to do the same. Once you have enough referrals for your chosen gift, you can claim your free item! How can these products be given away for free? When you or your referrals sign up and complete an offer with an advertiser (such as a free trial with LOVEFiLM), the site offering the gifts receive a commission. They can then use this money to send you your gift. Where do I start? Click the product you'd like to get for free, register, complete an offer with an advertiser then refer your friends. Can I have more than one account? Can I refer people in my household? Can you explain more about "offers"? Offers will vary depending on the network you sign up to (a network is a group of sites that are operated by the same organisation), but there are a couple of free ones, (such as LOVEFiLM or the GM credit card) and ones that require a small fee (such as Coral or Gala Bingo that require a £5 deposit to be spent). Note you cannot complete the same offer more than once, ie, you can't sign up to lots of sites and do the LOVEFiLM trial with all of them. Can I complete offers if I don't live in the UK? Get Into Shape with a Free Wii Fit!Posted Aug-27-08 12:05:50 PDT Updated Aug-30-08 04:29:51 PDT You've probably heard of Wii Fit, an accessory for the Nintendo Wii games console that helps you keep fit through a variety of fun games and exercises. Wii Fit has four training modes - Yoga, Balance Games, Strength Training and Aerobics. An on screen instructor will train you in various Yoga exercises, while the Balance Games include skiing down a mountain. Strength Training enables you to build and tone muscle whereas Aerobics can help you tone your body. However, with a RRP of around £70, it isn't a cheap way of getting into fitness. Thankfully, there is a way of getting one for free online, genuinely and legally, see my earlier blog post for details. |
