2007 The last day of eBay Live.  Boston is a BIG BIG City! And as a "Country Mouse" Like myself, I did get lost at least ONCE every day!  This Tunnel Collected a LOT of my money ::  I did spend a total of $60.00 just in parking! BUT, it was all well worth the Magnificent Adventure! This was my 1st year to be able to get away and "splurge" I treated myself for this trip and I had a BLAST!  I had met Cindy on my 1st day and I soon enjoyed seeing her Smiling Face whenever I would run into her! This last day I realized I needed a photo with her! And NOW, She even has a MySpace page, SO, stop by and BE HER FRIEND, she needs friends! ((winks)) http://www.myspace.com/cindyshebley She has some GREAT EbAY Live Photos to share too! I worked the Education Specialist booth from 9:00 AM till Noon. So, Unfortunately I missed the Town Hall Meeting :-( BUT, I did get a few people to become Education Specialists and join the program! SO, that was very rewarding! I am a proud Education Specialist!!!  This gal I met at my "MySpace" Round Table event the day before! And on this day, she came by the booth to JOIN the Program! If you are reading this my friend CONTACT ME!!!  Here we have two fellow eBayers! Carl and Greg! Carl runs a Group I belong to: North West Florida, the Panhandle I am a moderator for this group and we need MORE members! I finally ran into Janelle Elms! I do podcasts with her once a month and it has been a ton of fun! Was a pleasure to meet her face to face at last!!!!  I am Griff and eBetsy's #1 Fan!! I even got to do a little Radio Segment on eBay Radio! And will have some segments on YOU TUBE very soon! If you are an eBayer and you have not checked in OR joined the eBay Radio Group, HURRY HURRY as we are on a mission to get 20 Thousand Members by the NEXT eBay live! http://groups.ebay.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1278  I bought an eBay Snow Globe AND had it signed by the designer: Michael O.Smith! SORRY FOLKS, I'm not selling it either! I am treasuring it!  While waiting in line to enter the Grand Ballroom where the Gala Was being held, the wait went by VERY fast because eBay kept us entertained! Clowns were roaming the lines doing card tricks, passing out Free Drinks (non-alcoholic), Free Mentos, Ebay Tattoos and there were even Clown Photographers! They each had instant cameras and would come up and take your photo! It was so cool AND made the time pass by! (Disney should learn something from this to help with the lines) ANYHOW, I happen to be in line behind this couple, and suddenly she said OMG, I bought an eBook from you!!! haha, How cool was that!!! Here I am in a photo with her and her husband!  She even called me on the phone once and I remember her having a VERY COOL eBay Store! NOW, I need her to contact me again so I can add a link to this page!!! **waves** to you wherever you are!  Some complained about the food BUT I thought it was great! The Mini Boston Cream Pie was to DIE FOR! :-) .... and, just Walking into the Gala was AMAZING! The eBay Staff was lined up on both sides of the walkway! Even Meg and Griff were in the line-up! They cheered all of us as we entered the room! It was beyond anything I can describe! Another day I felt VERY PROUD to be an eBay Seller!!  eBetsy and her Hubby were SO CREATIVE! Fun and Silly! HAVING A BLAST!!! Being a part of the Carnival Theme! I tried hard this day to get a photo with Meg but had no luck. I did get a few photos of her:   I stopped by eBay Radio and Griff was out to lunch so they had a Cardboard photo of him!!! Too funny!  I did get a Caricature drawing done of myself by this talented man:  I created a Round Table Discussion Group to talk about MySpace and people signed up! I was the only one with a "Filled" sticker across the board! How Cool is that?? lol  eBetsey had her PARTY HAT on ::  I found Paul Revere AND I went to Lunch with my friend from Joliet Illinois "AuctionWonderland"

Live! It was so awesome to just walk into the building! I started my day attending a "Group" Meeting! Learning about the NEW format that is developing for the eBay Community of "Groups". Garnor Morantes was the speaker. His team manages the Group Technology Platform.  I found this to be very informative and enjoyable! After that was over, I had to go find eBay Radio and they were LIVE, on the Air!  Lee & Griff were interviewing Lynn Dralle the Queen of Auctions! I did get a photo with Chris Murch: On Site Coordinator!  I spent the day checking out the floor and all the booths! I took a class provided by the USPS about International Shipping. They had a set of pins and I managed to get a set! I've decided to sell mine as a Charity Auction! Check my Charity Auction Listings The KEY Notes event was Awesome!  I did get a couple photos of Meg and Bill Cob.  I have some videos of this event I will get posted SOON on You Tube! My photo of Rajiv didn't come out. He was a Brilliant speaker too from PayPal! I liked his style! They had some ice-cream and food out for all to enjoy!!! I saved my appetite for the PowerSellers night out! YES, I ate Lobster AGAIN!!!  AND .... eBay picked up the tab! 2007! I went a day early to attend an Education Specialist , All Day Training Session and Dinner held a the Westin Hotel in Boston! It was well worth flying in early! I felt like a queen as the PowerU organization went all out! They Wined and Dined us with Breakfast, Lunch and to a Beautiful Lobster Dinner!  The 1st Speaker was:   The 2nd speaker was : Andy Sernovitz! He put on a wonderful presentation! And eBay bought each of us a Signed copy of his latest book: Word of Mouth Marketing!  You too can pick up a copy of his book AND ask him to sign it : Word of Mouth Marketing by Andy Sernovitz I have found this book to be very useful! The highlight of this was to to finally MEET GRIFF from eBay Radio!!!!   and a Special Gal from eBay Radio: e-Betsey w/her Hubby:  THEN, I got to meet Jason Miner from PayPal Radio:   Some friends that sat at my Lunch Table! See anyone you know???  Some friends you may know from my Dinner Table:   I had the honor to meet the eBay Queen from MySpace! She said to me in the Parking Lot that she was My Friend on MySpace:  I do look a bit drunk here but I honestly was not!!!   Sharon and the PowerU Team made this night and day a complete success!   This Education Specialist became a Good friend of mine! He was already my friend on MySpace and is a member of my Affiliate Program! Brilliant eBay seller:  My 1st Day couldn't of been more perfect!!!!! At the end of the day I was so ON Top of the World Ready to see what tomorrow would bring! I thought it was SO SWEET! I put it on my eBay wall by the side of a Suncatcher she made for me a few months ago! Check it out::::::::::::  Kids grow up so fast!
