Hello Mindy!!! I am a stay at home mom as well, & I turned to ebay for extra money, & was really on a roll for a while, however I just can't seem to figure out how to get a store going & have Great items, such as yourself, to sell. I know that there are tutorials, & ebay basically walks you through the steps to get your store started; but what I don't understand is how do I get to be powerseller, when I've ran out stuff to sell, how do I aquire items in large quanities, that are new, or at least close to it...I don't want to sell junk by any means. Please help me with a few suggestions, when it's convienient for you. Thanks So Much, Gwen

My name is Debbie and for many years I have worked many different jobs to make ends meet with a dream on the side of having my own business and also making a difference in people's lives. I finally opened my dream store about two years ago, a brick and mortor bookstore/community center that had to close down last year due to lack of sales. I was so sad and thought I had to let go of a dream and was in so much debt. In December we needed money for Xmas and I decided to take some items from home and put them on eBay to make some money. I sold 90% of my items and realized I could try this more.

After working hard and placing all items from my store online (that is now in storage) I am selling more and became a trading assistant. I left my day computer job of five years and on my last day of work I was packing and getting ready for eBay Live Chicago with full family support. My time there was incredible. I took so many classes and was so grateful and happy. I got to hear your story among the other inspirational people too. Between the Griff show (loved meeting him haha) and hearing your story and others I am so inspired to do more. I have ideas to begin changing my store into a reduce, reuse, recycled store and also start a podcast on this theme as well. I would also like to empower others to work for themselves using eBay and help make a difference by giving back.

I can't tell you how happy I am. I am nervous since my sales have been down the past week and am curious how to always keep a stream of good income coming in as I build. Teaching, selling, I am into it all. I love what you do, I am curious do do more, I am very happy and content. I get to be with my daughter more, I get to sell as I watch fireworks haha, and I am working for myself. I must admit to be in love with this new life and want to make it work as much as possible. I have goals to be a silver seller.
