Rise and fall of reselling.

A reseller faces difficulties. Forget feedback, ignore what people post about you on forums, blogs and especially someone's homepage / forum / blog. even forget the quality and price wars.

One thing a reseller can't control, can be ruined by is the product manufacturer ending or worse - competiting against you.

Imagine having great product, great reputation and sales climbing. Then the company supplying you decides you making too much.

A supplier closing may set you back a short time, you just get another supplier.

But when the supplier goes from wholesale to retail, your face a big setback. Especially trying to sell stock that is now retailing less than you paid.

Direct outlets are opening and closing fast. Competition has never been so "darwin".

Learn to adjust. Find a way to off load your old product and find a new product.

I had to take this journey. To find a new product. Nothing wrong with the old products I sold, just supply issues.

So if you resell, remember to keep one eye on your supplier.
