My name is Kim, and I have been a professional event planner for over a decade. I've planned events all over the US ranging from corporation events to gala dinners to weddings and birthday parties through my event planning firm located on the East Coast.

My hopes are that this blog will allow me to pass along some "tricks of the trade" and advice for those wanting to make their life celebrations a little extra special -- from neat ideas to getting the most "bang for your buck."
