| Movie Preposal Almost Finished - Children Of MarsPosted May-10-08 21:36:49 PDT >Transmission from Martian Headquarters< >ComF: Unknown< >Signal: Strong< My movie preposal is almost done, I'm about over 75% done with the screenplay spec and 95% done with the design artwork(sketch work mainly). The concept is an animated sci-fi movie serious. The first act is called "Children Of Mars In Romancing The Spy" The serious is about these cloned hybrid kids that take over an installation on Mars and formed the first human nation outside of Earth called "The Martian State". Think of it like "Star Wars" but set in the real world, these Martians have to deal with the UN, wars in Africa and a sinister splinter cell agentcy that plots to take over the world in a totalitarian way. The first act has en extreme Shakespearian feel to it but with the twisty storytelling of Star Wars and probably has one of the most extremely emotional and badass endings of all time, that's all I will say there(Wait for the Movie). Most of the characters of the "Martian chatter posts" are "actual" characters of the concept like 50, 777, 800, 48 and F-15. The inspirations of the concept came from Codename: Kids Next Door, Secrets of NIMH(National Institution Of Mental Health), Star Wars of course and listening to too much Megadeth(no typo). Yet I don't know if I'm going to get a producer to look at it and greenlight it(cutting a deal), I might just make it into a comic book as a plan B(The comic book people will love it), bottomline when it's finished I'm going to look up producers and/or agents and mail or email off request letters, doesn't hurt to try! Later I might post an actual page of the artwork proposal in my about me page to show that I'm not lying(hell my account photo is the main character of the first act "Triple Seven").
