Most Recent Posts nothing cheesy please what are you REALLY thankful for...Posted Nov-22-06 19:53:13 PST I am thankful for my two children. They have given me life. Yes, I know, I have truly given it to them but that's not the REAL truth for me. I just pushed them out... they are the ones who gave me life. I began to see things differently, voids were filled and I love them so much. I live for them. Thank you God almighty for blessing me with my children. I am thankful for the roof over my head, my warm bed to sleep in, my car, my HEALTH, my children's HEALTH, my doggie and my very good friends. MOMS ? Or is it just me...Posted Aug-30-06 18:28:44 PDT I need to buy my son bigger clothing to fir his belly :( He is only 7 but quite chunky ( like his mom and daddy). he is a big boy to begin with but well... anyway back to the topic.... I need to buy him bigger clothes which means they are all too long , sleeves, pant legs etc. I REFUSE to send him to school with clothing that looks like bed shirts or rolled up three and four times so I invested ( last year) in a sewing machine. Nope, not true. I forgot LOL it was a gift from my mommy :) Anyway, I started hemming pants, shortening shirts and sleeves and it really takes time and patience. I never took a class and have been learning on my own but I cannot bellieve how much of a relaxed mind set it takes. I think sewing is good for me. I did not give it enough time last year ( fixing his clothing ) but this year I think I will. I am a do it now , do it all, do everything kind of person but I think sewing will force me to find the peace and patience that I need in life. I do not ever question those custom people and the money they make because this sewing plain' ole little hems is HARD work! I can't imagine the time they put into their items. Do you sew? I need to buy him bigger clothing to fit his belly and chest but that means everything is WAY too long. I refuse to send him to school with clothing that looks like bed shirts and night gowns. I always feel sorry for the kids whose moms don't sew and |
