In other news...

• My Imagization Page (which will have more detailed info on Customizing) is still not ready, even though I had hoped it would be by now. If you have specific questions, please contact me. And thank you for your patience.
• There are more changes coming to eBay -- including the elimination of checks and money orders as acceptable ways to transact business on eBay-- so I'll be wasting more time making description revisions so my listings "conform" to the imminent policy changes. (I'm still not done fixing things from the last changes, and I'm back to square one.)
• Since eBay has decided to adopt a method of "rewarding" Sellers who list the shipping as "free" that actually PUNISHES the Sellers who do not, I will be experimenting with the concept of FREE SHIPPING with some of my items (since I have to revise everything again anyway). This is really not the way I wanted to go, because it makes the product v. shipping costs non-transparent (for starters). I encourage my customers and potential customers to contact me regarding their thoughts on this situation... I will have more to say on this topic once I've been able to think the logistics through a little more and actually started to list items that way. (But I'm happy to hear from you as soon as "now," so if you have an opinion/suggestion already, there's no need for you to wait until I post something more lengthy about it.)
• I am still adding items to my "CUSTOM" category, and recently listed some new shirt styles that work well with the ChromaBlast printing (both a Men's style, and a less "fitted" women's v-neck style), so those who have been waiting for something other than the fitted tees and strappy tanks finally have something else to choose from! If you have questions, or are waiting for something else to be added or re-listed, please let me know.

ImagizeYourWorld is the process of being revamped a little. Some changes have already been implemented, some are in progress and some are just around the corner.

STORE CATEGORIES:

I have already changed my Categories (and Cateory Structure), based on input from all of YOU. Most of the "subcategories" have been eliminated, as most of you felt they were more confusing then they were helpful. At this time, only "Apparel" and "Jewlery" still have subcategories; these seemed a little more important to be able to breakdown (remember, you can click on the main category and see everything at once if you want to... the subcategories are only there for the convenience of those who want them). Additionally, my store settings have been altered so that only the "top two" levels of categories show up (by default) in the category list, so the list has a cleaner feel and is easier to read; individual viewers will still be able to choose to have all levels of subcategories revealed (just click the appropriate hypertext at the very bottom of the category list).

Other category changes are the categories themselves... most of the standard item-type categories are the same or close to the same as they have been for some time (Apparel, Jewelry, etc.). However, the "... by theme" category has been eliminated, and so the subcategories that used to be under it had to be removed or moved to the top level... and some that were moved were altered or divided into multiple new categories. Most significantly, the "Vampires & Werewolves" category has been separated into more specific categories to make browsing easier (... "Forever Knight," "Angel & BTVS," etc., now each have their own separate item lists). Additionally, "Alex O'Loughlin & Moonlight" have been combined into one category, to keep things simple for the cross-over fans (this way non-Moonlight-Alex and non-Alex-Moonlight stuff will all be together in one spot). This also means the "CUSTOM" category has been moved to a top level category... and it has actually been moved to the top of the list, so it is the FIRST top level category. The "CUSTOM" category is where you will find a variety of styles of shirts (and other items such as mouse pads and coasters) that can be decorated with your own personal photos, OR one of the designs that I offer on basic shirts. This is very important, because it essentially multiplies the possibilities that are available to you, so you can choose a special style, color or size from the CUSTOM items, and then choose the design you want from my standard listings (or submit your own photo/design). Please see the appropriate listings and my Imagization Page -- which will hopefully be "up and running" soon -- for more detailed info on Customizing.

As usual, most items will appear in two categories. Most items will appear in an Item-Type Category AND a Design Theme Category. (For example, a Forever Knight Mouse Pad will appear in the "Mouse Pads, Coasters & Sets" Category, as well as the "Forever Knight" Category.) Items that appear in the CLEARANCE category will only be able to appear in one other category. They previously appeared in the appropriate Item-Type Category; however customers have requested that this be changed so that CLEARANCE Items appear in the Design Theme Category instead, so that will be the listing method I use now. (For example, a CLEARANCE price Forever Knight Mouse Pad will appear in the "CLEARANCE" Category and the "Forever Knight" Category... but NOT in the "Mouse Pad, Coasters & Sets" Category.)

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:

I am in process of changing my descriptions as well. This is due to some slight changes to my polices and Priority Mail S/H fees, some upcoming changes to eBay's listing view, to clarify some aspects of the items and designs so it's easier for you to customize your purchase, and to make the descriptions a little easier to follow by more clearly separating the info that pertains to the "blank" item as it was originally manufactured, and the decorating that will be done by ImagizeYourWorld.

In the new version, additional information will be included with the design/sample that indicates whether or not it may be requested for "Custom" items, what printing method it is (so it can be matched with an appropriate custom item) and the Designation (Name/Number) for the Design, so you will be able to clearly specify the design you want when purchasing a Custom item. This is important, because most designs I offer are listed on a few standard styles/colors/sizes, but can be used for any compatible style listed in my "Custom" category... and you can still make special requests too! I will never be able to have every single possibility listed all the time, so if what you need is missing let me know so I can list it for you!

In addition to these changes, I am also in the process of moving my pictures to a different host server. This process is making the code updates and revising/relisting take a little longer than most previous revamps, so please bear with me. If there are listings you need that are still missing, please let me know what you are waiting on so I can move it to the top of my "to do" list.

Please note: most of the "policy" changes being made are strictly formatting and wording. HOWEVER, it appears that there WILL be an actual change to my policy in the near future. Pay Pal & eBay have announced that they will be removing the requirement for Sellers to ship only to "Confirmed" Addresses. When this change to THEIR policy takes place, my policy will change as well (meaning that I will no longer require a confirmed address, as that policy has always only been in place due to the Pay Pal/eBay policy). They mistakenly originally announced that this change would take place on the last day of September, but then ammended it to be the last day of October; it remains to be seen when/if this will actually officially occur. Until the eBay/Pay Pal policy changes, my policy will remain as it is; however, once their policy change actually goes into effect, so will mine. (The timing of my policy change will be based on the actual date of sale, not the version of my policy that appears in my listing.) If you have questions please ask!

PRE-ORDERS:

I am re-implementing the use of "Pre-Order" listings for certain Custom Items. This will enable me to offer you much more variety (and/or quantities) than what I am actually able to stock full-time. Pre-Order listings will be designated as such at the very top of the item description. Please note that these are not "traditional" pre-orders (such as DVD sales that occur prior to the release date). This means that the listings will not specify a date that the completed item will ship, but it will instead give an estimate of how long it will take AFTER cleared payement and choices have been received (just like my other Custom/Made-to-Order item, only the estimate will be a little longer for pre-orders). This is because these listings are considered "pre-orders" because certain components will be acquired ONLY AFTER there has been a purchase; therefore the "ready date" is directly linked to the "purchase date." If you have questions about something specific, please let me know.
