Brand Name products banned from sellers on Ebay?

it is different just put it that way..I have a pro merchant account over there where I can sell anything and everything except movies,books,and cd's..
I guess you have to have a different account to sell those items.

what was the violation on the JVC?

Back in early April..Pvo Fvo or something like that..I dont' know..copyright nonsense,which I didn't violate any pictures..I used my own photo....,Ebay could not even tell me what exactly was the problem with the listing..There is an outside agency that scours the listings for manufacturers and reports them to companies..for copyrighted violations...They are afraid that you will be selling their goods for less than what they market and price their goods for ..thereby devaluing "their" product..
After talking to someone on the phone,(they called)..my listing violation was removed ..in the dashboard..you will see a policy compliance rating..they use that rating to rank your items on ebay for listings.

When that listing was removed I was really surprised because previous to that I was selling quite a few VCR's from Panasonic,and JVC..with pretty good success.
I am guessing that maybe a competitor might have blown me in ..for selling items lower than they were used to selling them..thereby decreasing their profit margin.

I am sure it had to do with the fact that I was selling them lower than what a "dealer" was pricing them for..probably peeved him off.

just got some auto updates on computer..might have to reboot soon.

I did...I received a gobbly gook message from some geek over at the company that was just a generic mishmosh of hogwash.

Hiya firefox...your going to see alot more of the vero items coming down, because of the recent lawsuit brought by louis vitton and there is another by tiffany in the works, basically you cannot use trademarked names or material to sell your items, at least you can use them in the searchable item titles, content in the listing is a different matter altogether, i had a pair of Bape tennis shoes (retail for around 300.00 listed) they got pulled and the vero member sent me a letter demanding the return of the merchandise to them, i sent them a letter from my lawyer demanding 300.00 plus listing fees, along with a reciept from the store that they were purchases from, that is the last i ever heard from them, i then relisted the shoes with the name ape taking a bath in the river shoes, and sold them for 225.00 ..LOL>>>
i was wondering how they are going to handle this situation with people that are drop shipping name brand products..
