GRAND OPENING of my first eBay store!

I'm a proud mama today. I opened my first eBay store this week, and made my first sale! eBay made it so easy to set up, and very cost-effective. These are both very important for those of us who are new to owning our own business! I still have a lot to learn, and will be making constant updates to the store, but I just wanted to crow about it.

heavenlyitems, there are advantages and disadvantages to the different formats for selling. (Check them out at: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/ia/formats.html) The best advice I have heard is to use a combination of methods to get the best cross-promotion and exposure. I keep most of my items listed in store inventory, to take advantage of the lower listing fees. But I like to always have something in auction format, to drive more people to the store.
