Wow, I guess that this comes with the territory! I have sold 22 items on eBay now. (I feel accomplished!) So, about every dozen items one has a problem. The first - the buyer didn't like her item. We resolved it. Now, someone "accidentally" purchased something that was ending in 1/2 an hour, so I had to open a dispute on it, and now I'm going through that whole 'unpaid item dispute' process so it can be resolved and then I can relist it and get a credit, etc. etc.
I just want to know - how do you accidentally purchase something? Is that code for "I purchased it and then found a better deal"? Just wondering. Anyway, it's a bummer, you get all excited that something sold - and then the buyer emails you and says "I made a mistake"? Ugh! It's a $7 item, just suck it up and pay it. But that's just me!! I hope that this all gets resolved soon and I don't have many more problems selling! And I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she DID make a mistake. But -- I think it says a lot about our society. Last night I was at Cheesecake Factory and someone had to complain about their food to get a free meal - but the guy still ate the whole thing. If it was so bad why did you want a free meal? That is just the world we live in, I guess.
