Just Closed my Ebay Store

Ebay claims they care so I let them know that their fees (about 15% between them and paypal) were killing me. Their invoices had no detail. And the feedback changes where one neutral took my rating down from 100% to 96% _infuriated_ me. I doubt as if I will be back. Too bad as I really worked hard on the store and was genuinely looking forward to making a living at it.

Oh, and no bloggers ever bought anything. Oh well. (shrug)

I'm having a tough time, too, and may end up in the same boat. All the changes that came into play right after I opened my store have really hurt.

I was led to believe by quite a few old timers that it was critical to blog in order to get sales. Obviously I do not understand the concept.

I too thought I had a few things figured out. then the invoices rolled in and I could not figure out how much I was being charged per item. It seemed like I was being vastly overcharged. Then the neutral rolled in and POW from 100% to 96%. I could see 99%, but no things had changed.

the invoices can be easily sorted by item number so to understand how much each item costs.

tons of successful sellers have never used eBay blogs.

building your feedback by selling cheap photos is not only against policy, but it looks bad when most that have bought from you are now NARU'd.
