Deep breathing is a relaxation technique that can be self-taught. Deep breathing releases tension from the body and clear the mind, improving both physical and mental wellness.
We tend to breathe shallowly or even hold our hold our breath when we are feeling anxious. Sometimes we are not even aware of it. Shallow breathing limits your oxygen intake and adds further stress to your body, creating a vicious cycle. Breathing exercises can break this cycle.
The importance of good posture cannot be overstated. While sitting, we tend to slouch, which compresses the diaphragm and other organs, resulting in shallow breathing. Slouching also strains muscles in the neck and back. It is helpful to sit in a chair with good back support to avoid fatigue that leads to slouching.
How to do Deep Breathing Exercises:
Sit up straight. (Do not arch your back) First exhale completely through your mouth. Place your hands on your stomach, just above your waist. Breathe in slowly through your nose, pushing your hands out with your stomach. This ensures that you are breathing deeply. Imagine that you are filling your body with air from the bottom up.
Hold your breath to a count of two to five, or whatever you can handle. It is easier to hold your breath if you continue to hold out your stomach. Slowly and steadily breathe out through your mouth, feeling your hands move back in as you slowly contract your stomach, until most of the air is out. Exhalation is a little longer than inhalation.
After you get some experience you don’t need to use your hands to check your breathing.
You can also do the above breathing exercise lying on your back. Deep breathing exercises can help you to relax before you go to sleep for the night, or fall back asleep if you awaken in the middle of the night.
You can also practice deep breathing exercises standing – e.g. while sitting in traffic, or standing in a lineup at the grocery store. If you are really tense and feel as if you are holding your breath, simply concentrate on slowly breathing in and out.
Other relaxation techniques that can be self-taught are meditation and progressive muscle relaxation.

To this day, one of the major reasons people, celebrities in particular, experience financial difficulties results from not paying income taxes. Most recently, Wesley Snipes and let's not forget another heavy weight champion Mike Tyson. However, tax liens are not limited to the rich and famous. Failure to FileLet's take the first penalty----failure to file. According to the I.R. S. most folks who don't file actually would have received a tax refund. You only have three years to file for a refund so you could be leaving money on the table. If you are someone who procrastinates you can also file for an extension. You will need to send the I.R.S. a check for what you believe you owe. The failure to file penalty is 5% per month or a maximum of 25% on the amount owed. Failure to Pay If you don't file and owe money the penalties on the back taxes can really add up. The amount is 0.5% per month until the balance is paid in full. The I.R.S. recommends that you file and negotiate a payment plan. Yes, you can pay back taxes on an installment plan and you will have to pay interest and penalties. InterestIf you owe back taxes the I.R.S. will charge you interest on the unpaid balance and the rate changes every three months. The impact of the combination of penalties is how Joe Louis' situation went from bad to worse as his tax bill ballooned from 500,000 to over a million dollars. We teach our children that 1 +1= 2 and Paris is the capital of France, yet we never teach our children who and what they are.
We don't tell them that they are a unique creation of God. Distinct from all of Gods other creatures yet connected in His universal plan.
We didn't explain to them,
" No one looks like you or thinks like you.
No one has your exact potential for health or love."
No one experiences the world quite like you and perhaps this is what makes our human communication so difficult.
We don't teach our children that they can do or be anything they choose to be provided they are willing to work for it.
We don't teach them that at times they will feel as though they failed but in reality they just learned a way that did not work for them.
Perhaps the next one will.
We don't teach them to love and honor other creatures simply because they are also created by God and because they are also unique and perfect in their structure and design.
We fail to teach our children that it's OK to disagree and that disagreements are part of life.
All of Gods creatures perceive things in their unique way so differences will abound.
We should teach our children not only to honor these differences but celebrate them as the world would be quite a boring and monotonous place if we all perceived it the same.
Yes 1 + 1= 2 is important but isn't it equally important to understand the mathematical equation of what makes you you?
We are a three part being of body, mind, and spirit.
Failure to nurture any aspect of our being causes a loss of harmonious balance.
To fully accept our uniqueness in Gods plan you need to become one with the power within you that gives you your Godliness, your purpose, your life.
Perhaps if we also taught our children this, then the honor, love, and acceptance we so desperately need and desire would become available to us all

36 CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS
An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happens tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
