I HAD ANOTHER SELLER EMAILING MY CUSTOMERS AND TELLING THEM NOT TO BUY FROM ME AND ALSO HAVING ME BLOCKED FROM PUIRCHASING FROM SOME SELLERS. I HAD THE EBAYERS THAT GOT THESE EMAILS TO FOWARD THEM TO ME. AT THAT POINT I FORWARDED IT THEM TO THE TRUST AND SAFETY! THE TRUST AND SAFETY DID NOT DO SQUAT, AND SAID NOT ENOUGH PROOF. UNFORTUNATELY, BEING HARRASSED BY COMPETITION GOES ON MORE THAN WE THINK.

perhaps begin a dialog with trust and safety? forward them all your research and proof you have.

perhaps try detailing your proof this way: On this date, auction number, bidders, id's of bidders receiving emails, auction end result. Do this for each one, with as many details as possible. don't give up.

oh and find the "rules" this person is breaking and quote them in your contact.

HI...thanks for the comment...i had some ebayers forward those emails to trust and safety....that is why i started this blog...to help all of us who are victims....i am hoping the ebay community will see the "report this email" button on the right of the email and forward any email that interferes with anyones auction.....please tell all your ebay friends so this blog will catch those sellers and trust and safety will shut them down......thanks sooo much donna

Very scary. So sad that people feel threatened enough to be so dishonest.

What you are describing is auction interference. Buying from someone in order to leave a negative and emailing a seller's bidders to warn them off are both against eBay rules. If you have proof then report it all to Trust and Safety. You can talk to your PowerSeller rep too.

Maybe you could warn buyers of this practise in your listings because some of us are quite naive and maybe a little too trusting. If I were warned about some of the 'bad practises' by dishonest sellers, I may be a bit more vigilant.
p.s. Thank you for warning me about this, I wouldn't want to buy from a seller that has to cheat and deceive to get buyers!

She is the most honest and giving person you'll ever meet. I can't understand why someone would even care what her corp is. I can't understand why someone would spend their time trying to interfere with someone else's auctions (other than jealousy). So what if she happen to buy a bag and resell it for a profit - isn't that what we are all doing on ebay? I suppose you're going to sell all those Dooney's that you're buying at a loss? So what if she has a slightly different description of a bag -- everyone's perception of condition is just that - their perception - and all ebayer's know that. You're harping on her honesty - what about your honesty and INTEGRITY. Maybe you should tend to your own back yard instead of interferring with competitors. I've always thought competition was good for the soul - either it makes you a better person to deal with or a bad person to deal with -- which are you?

Yeh, I've been here the last few days, but decided I wasn't interested in participating in your childish rants. I do have to say one thing though.....yeh, you go ahead and put your picture up against dreaming of diamonds...that would be a hoot. I am curious - exactly what is your beef with dod? I'm the kind of person who goes on facts. Please claify with specific info regarding: fraud, cheat, not paying taxes. Those are pretty strong words.......what's your proof? Where did you come up with the idea these things are going on? If she's commiting fraud by reselling bags, explain it. I don't see any buyers complaining - so why are you? If it is, why hasn't ebay taken her off ebay? If you have proof - let's have it. If you don't, then I say it's simply a case of teenage jealousy.

Have you ever bought one item from dod? Just when and why did this vendetta start?

A few more things....what do your bosses think about your childish behavior and you making such strong accusations that could lead you to court? And, what do they think about you doing this on work time? I would not want to be paying someone money to play on the computer.

On the photo contest -- just so you know -- dod is one of those people who gets out of bed looking like a million dollars. She doesn't have to use makeup and her hair is absolutely gorgeous whether it's hanging long or in a pony tail. It's all natural. So, be careful about entering that contest.

I've never claimed to be a beauty, have a photographic memory or work for 7 law firms. I am a proud grandmother and wife of 32 years. Those are the things that are important in life - not showing off.

She and her family and my family have had many outings together....we have had yard sales and spent the night in the same house....she was my Director of Nurses in our nursing agency (and had to make many late night visits to terminal patients - there was no time to dress up).

1. Have you bought anything from dod and had a problem with it?
2. What is your "fraud" based on?

1. How could it violate ebay's policies to admit you haven't bought anything from dod?
2. Where's the fraud -- a purse was purchased, cleaned, relisted as "excellent used". Sounds like a smart marketing person to me.
4. No can't have the same - but sure does look like jealousy
5. Since you are an employee - you may not realize that self-employeed folks pay taxes either quarterly or annually - and we pay our sales tax at that time.
6. What's wrong with multiple ebay names? LOTS of honest hardworking folks have more than one user id - where's the cheating in that.

Out bid by someone who didn't leave feedback....ooohhhh....how spooky...happens millions of times a day on ebay.

2. Wrong again....negative said hardware tarnished (it was antique hardware) - nothing about pen marks. Plus the buyer is one of your buddies (see your favorites). Set up for a negative?

5. Telling things again that are not right. My husband and I farm 1200 acres and we pay taxes annually.

I very rarely sale to Alabama - most shipments go out of the state or out of the country. So, no tax is required. But, I do keep up with the few who do and I pay it on my taxes.

Well, dreaming of dooneys -- it has been interesting getting to know you. It's quite obvious from your "facts" and excuses - that you are an irrational person. And, I know it's a waste of time to deal with irrational people. You are full of negative energy and that's something I don't want in my life. I have lots of love and fun with my family (matter of fact I'm playing with my 2 & 8 yr old grandsons this morning) and it's so much more fun than playing smash mouth with you. I have bought bags, wallets, and a suitcase from Donna. EVERY SINGLE ONE was exactly as described OR BETTER, shipped carefully and quickly. Yes, condition is subjective, but how wonderful to deal with a seller who has high standards and an honest scrutiny of the condition of the items she is selling. I too, have several favorite Dooney sellers and I too, check for Donna's latest goodies. My repeat business is because I can trust, that what I buy from Donna is EXACTLY what she has offered and I am ALWAYS pleased with my latest find! Repeat business is earned and for those of us Dooney nuts (especially vintage), Donna delivers! I am being harrassed by an e-bayer that created a second user i.d. just for the sole purpose of buying my item and leaving negative feedback. Also they obviously have no intentions of paying me. I have neg. feedback now from this and have forwarded all harrassing e-mails to E-bay and Paypal but am not getting much. They just blocked one comment they made but wont remove the neg. feedback from the member with 0 feedback and no intention to pay. I am not the best seller as I have 5 children and my son is usually in the hospital so I am a slow shipper but I own my flaws and do my best to better them. I am just really frustrated with the situation. It seems like there are a lot of grumpy e-bayers lately and its really hard to get help frome E-bay. I am just very frustrated. Thanks for the ear!
