Most Recent Posts Feeling DownPosted Aug-14-08 20:19:29 PDT I have just found this past week to be a real...downer. Everything seems to me coming at me left right and center and just when I think I finally am ahead of things something else comes along to kick me when I'm down. Like Just recently my Hard drive crashed on my lap top. It's not even two years old. A year and 4 months to be exact. Thank god it was under warranty, but thats not the worst of it. I don't know how much information was able to be saved off it from the tech guy. He said he was able to save most of it..but what is most? I had art work on there, book marks to sites that I needed. over 200 MP3... I bet all of that was lost along with my fiction works that I was working on...154 pages...gone to the digital wind. I sometimes feel like giving it all up this month. I feel like something is pushing me just to see how much it's going to take before I crack and break down. I know you guys probably could care less about all this, I'm just some faceless nobody on the Internet, but I felt I just had to get this out somewhere and maybe ease my mind a little. Tomorrow I have to go and pick up my lap top, but It's a mixed feeling, on the one hand I'm very glad to have it back, on the other...I know it's going to be a lot of work to get it back to some level of what I had it at, and that I'm going to be facing a great disappointment in losing so much of my online life. .:+Shinigami+:. Shiny SilverPosted Jul-17-08 17:33:16 PDT Updated Jul-17-08 17:45:46 PDT Well since I have nothing else to post on here about, and I noticed a few people posting linkage to pets and so forth. I thought I would share my pet Silver with the blogger Comm. So sorry for the bad image, It's hard to get him to stay still long enough for me to get a good shot of him, but I'll keep trying. anyone else out there have a pet hedgie? or are thinking on getting one? EDIT: Thanks so much for the help with posting images :3 (sorry for the page stretching one xx) ~Night Blogger Community!~Posted Jul-15-08 22:42:40 PDT Don't miss me too much. Ha! Ha! Nah...I just didn't want to seem rude for not replying to posts, so I'm just letting you know I'm logging off for the night. Looking around at some of the blogs makes me think I really need to learn how to make these fancy looking eBay blogs with the backgrounds and stuff. Mines kind of..generic look'n lol. Anyway later community! .:+Duo+:.
Wicked ShippingPosted Jul-15-08 22:16:39 PDT Damn! Talk about your sneak attacks. I recently was going to purchase a key chain that I have been looking for to complete my character collection. I thought, 5.99 Hell thats not bad...I mean I got many of my key chains on here for under $10 bucks. Then I find out the Shipping cost to Canada..... Does it seriously cost $27.99 to mail a two inch key chain that could fit in a letter envalope, to Canada? Oo;. I really hate it when sellers hit you with wicked shipping, thats obviously over inflated. Thank god for alternate U.S addresses. International ProblemsPosted Jul-04-08 09:28:20 PDT You know it's really frustrating to buy from US sellers when no one is willing to ship to Canada. I have to have it sent to a friend in the US and then sent to me, which is a lot of leg work on both our parts simply because some people feel it's to far to ship to Canada. I even offer to pay the extra shipping cost, so I don't often times see what the problem is. Worse yet are auctions made "No Canadian Buyers!" Why the sudden unfriendliness? There have been many times when I have wanted to buy an item, or shown interest in an item that they could have sold in an instant to me, yet because they had me "blocked" out, I couldn't purchase it, even after asking if I could via message contact. It's a good way to kill sales when your trying to sell something, you have a buyer very interested and you deny them just because they live across the border. =\ |
