Had a buyer send me a check. Our policy is to wait 14 days from receipt of payment before shipping on items paid by check. Day after I mailed the item, I got a notice from the bank that the check bounced (it took 15 days to come back!!). Now I am out the money, plus the returned check fee (which is more than the amount of the check!). The buyer is no longer registered on eBay and I am out the money and the item! :(
