Sidekick 2 great, sellar bad!Posted Sep-07-06 10:14:00 PDT So, I wanted a Sidekick 2, and located one online. I purchased it for 160.00. What a horrible experince it's been! First of all, the sellar contacted me once to bill me, and then after that, nothing! After the arrival date had come and gone I emailed and emailed and emailed, all to no avail. She completly ignored me. Finally, being panicked, I opened a claim on PayPal, and suddenly she started communicating with me. She asked me to please close the claim because there was a hold on her money, and I told her I wouldn't do that until I recieved the item. Well finally the item came, and I was dissapointed! The C button was falling off, there were scratches on the screen (which she had claimed there weren't) and she left out some of the bumpers that come with it. All in all the Sidekick 2 looked very used, not almost brand new, as she had claimed. I told her my concerns and she said she'd do anything to fix it, just could I please close the claim. For some reason I trusted her, and closed the claim. Well, suprise suprise, when I emailed her and asked if I could have a 50 refund because a Sidekick 2 with that much damage would never sell for that much, she didn't answer me! She still to this day hasn't answered me. I have contacted PayPal again, but I don't know what they will decide as you aren't supposed to be able to open a claim twice! So we'll see. But for all of you, don't buy from a sellar named Ruth Crowe, with an email starting with Amberruss, and with a screen name of labtech2806! I feel so angry that I paid 160 dollars to be treated like this! But I guess you live and learn! Feel free to share your experinces with me! Have a great day! East County Girl |
