What are some of the things you do to practice living an earth friendly life on a daily basis?

So, I just spent the day picking up used car tires. Why?..not for what you think!  My mother  had recently picked up some veggies from a neighbors garden and during the visit she was struck by the use of materials not typically found in gardens. Thus my adventures today acquiring the worn rubber! Now my mother draws fresh produce from the many seeds planted in Tire-pots! Such fruit and veggie names as Goodyear Grapes, Michelin Melons, Toyo tomatoes etc.

Save gas and emissions not driving to the market for things you can grow at home! Alot of tire dealers are happy to have you take the used tires, some even pay you to take them off their hands.
