Yeck..been cold, rainy and damp here in the smallest state in the Union. Although, I really have no right to complain given the terrible tragedy that's hit parts of the South this past week. As I look out my storefront, the rain is now turned to snow. Gonna be this way fr a couple days..just plain miserale. Can't wait til spring.

Many dog and cat food  companies claim 100% complete and balanced nutrition on their packaging. The truth is that most of those claims are false. #1. That's a generalized statement based on the minimum nutritional values set by AAFCO that most pet food manufacturers follow.#2, as with people, each dog or cat is different from the next one, that's why some pets do well on pet food brand "A", while others don't.

Supplementing your pet's diet with vitamins, minerals and glucosamine is a good way to ensure they are getting their proper nutrition. There are several products on the market today. Some that are only glucosamine and chondroitin, some just vitamins, some a mixture of both. Their costs vary from 8.99 to as high as 30.00 or 35.00 dollars. My experience has taught me to always keep my eyes open for those products that can offer high value with decent cost. I have used and sold supplements for 24.99 to 19.99. Recently, my inside sales rep. for the distribution company I buy from turned me on to "VitaPet Plus" by NaturVet. It's an all in one supplement - vitamins, minerals and glucosamine. I have to say that out of all of the products I've used and sold, this by far is the best and is really low cost which is unheard of today.

I retail 60 tablets for 8.99 and my customers now swear by this products as do I. Our Scottish Terrier's limp is not as pronounced as it was previous to using VitaPet Plus. Customers have noticed their dogs energy levels coming back and even improvements in their coats. In sort, I do believe in supplementing, and yes, their are extremely affordable products in the market today that do work!
