The Wind Blew

And blew. The fires spead.  Hundreds have been evacuated from the east coast of Florida.  I-95, LPGA Blvd. & other roads were shut down.  The only saving grace yesterday was the wind was blowing toward the east coastline and not back toward the center of the state.

We need rain again, desperatly.

They said on the Fox News this morning that somebody spotted a black car with a spoiler driving around throwing something out the window just a few minutes before the fires started. 2 houses were burned during the night. Not a good day over in Cocoa and Daytona and Malabar. Wish these winds would die down and the rain we were suppose to get yesterday would have come. Maybe if we all go out and wash our cars... that always triggers the rain for me! lol

Sorry to hear about the fires there. I saw them on CNN today, and there was some poor family trying to fight the fires approaching their back yard with buckets of water from their swimming pool.

We'd gladly trade you some rain for sunshine from the mid-Atlantic area!
