Amazing item and exremely rare, it is supposed to be the largest such work written originally in English after Calmet was translated (ISBE). Added New Bible DictionaryPosted Sep-10-07 16:09:20 PDT Updated Sep-10-07 16:10:02 PDT Was able to obtain from England A Cyclopaedia of Biblical Geography, Biography, Natural History and General Knowledge. By Lawson Rev J. & Wilson Rev J., A. Fullarton, London c. 1860. This rare edition is 8 volumes, in beautiful blue cloth bindings, scuffed but in very good condition. This is the first of this edition that I have seen for sale, and do not expect to see any more in the near future. It is usually found in 2 volumes quattro. Worldcat lists three of these: one at Brigham Young University, one in Scotland and one in England. |
