| Busy As UsualPosted Jun-20-08 13:03:02 PDT I've been very busy today working on a new doll which I have now finished and listed. I'd have popped a photo of her on here but I'm not sure if it's possible or not. Any advice would be gratefully received. I'm quite suprised at the attention my doll listings have been getting. I'd only listed one last night and she had two people watching her within the first hour. I only wish that my EleLou Primitives website got as much attention. I think that business in generally slow round about this time of year though and it usually picks up towards September. I've been told to start listing Christmas stuff in July on my website which evidently is when the people in the USA start looking for Christmas goodies. Talk about shopping early for Christmas! LOL They'll only just have got 4th July out of the way! Of course we also have Halloween and Thanksgiving Day jamed in between then and Christmas so I think I'd better start thinking pumpkins and turkeys. I love being in the crafting business because there's always something different to make. I did really well last year on ebay with my Santa Sacks and Christmas stockings and I'm going to make a few sacks for my booth at Victorian Weekend just to see if I can get any local orders. I buy most of my fabric from my local mill shop and Laura has promised me that she will see that I get my sacks in enough time to make some up for September. Evidently they can't be put through the till until September though. Don't know why, most likely paperwork red tape.
