Most Recent Posts Ebay's new category for Primitives/ Folk ArtPosted Mar-18-08 13:11:10 PDT Updated Mar-18-08 13:19:58 PDT Yes finally we got someone to listen to us! Ebay has in the past deleted some of our Primitive listings for being in the wrong category. When asked which category they should be in most of the times I got "toys". That just seemed absurd to me! By no means are these items covered in coffee, cinnamon, rusty safety pins, cracked buttons, and who knows what other grungy fun I can come up with made for children! There is no way I was posting them under toys for some child to get an unsafe item to play with. With no other good option I just kept listing in the antiques> naive primitives category. I am happy to say that now (thanks to much complaining to ebay) we have our own category!!!! You can find us under ART. Just go to the category Art > Art from Dealers and Sellers> Primitives/Folk Art. Now it may take a little time and some word spreading, but soon enough most of your favorite Prim Artist will be moving over to the new category! This does not do anything new for a buyer simply searching by key words alone. Only those who search or narrow down by category. We will still be here on Ebay listing with the same titles, just in our own place and not "cluttering up" (as Ebay put it) the antiques category. This is a great day for us Primitive Artist to finally be recognized by Ebay!!!! Thanks Ebay for listening:) http://art.listings.ebay.com/Art-from-Dealers-Resellers_Folk-Art-Primitives_W0QQfclZ3QQfromZR11QQsacatZ357QQsocmdZListingItemList Hugs, Liz (elizabethjanecreations) |
