Yesterday our  Hospital, the Glens Falls Hospital, hosted a wonderful event for moms and moms-to-be.  It was called something like, "Everyday is Mother's Day!".  Local businesses were invited to display their wares at boothes and we were invited to do a fashion show as well.  So, aside from the Great Expectations Maternity table there was a table with information about Hypnobirthing, La Leche League (interestingly they were directly across from the formula giveaway table!), belly casting information, the local children's bookstore was there, diaper cake makers, our local Kindermusik and much, much more.  It was a great first time out for this event. 

The fashion show was great fun!  We had six ladies ranging from nine weeks of pregnancy to 36 weeks and a nursing mom as well.  They did a great job and the reaction of the audience was astonishment that maternity and nursing clothing can look so amazing and can be worn after giving birth as well.  It's so exciting for me to show women how great they can look and how it can make them feel great too!

I have a passion for what I do.  I own a maternity shop in Glens Falls, NY at the footfills of the Adirondacks and seven miles from Lake George.  I'm a mom and had a terrible time finding decent maternity clothes when I was pregnant.  I am thrilled to offer gorgeous maternity clothes at decent prices both in the store and online.  I love helping women find clothes that make them feel awesome during pregnancy.  One customer's husband asked her if I sold regular clothes too because she looked so put together through her pregnancy.  I love when women wear their new bras out of the store because they are more comfortable and look better.  Just yesterday I had a customer come running out of the dressing room because she was so excited about how she looked in a particular top she was trying on.  And we've had many, many pleased online customers as well.  So I'm here to talk about being a mom, about maternity fashion and helping in any other way that I can.
