Wow, that's a pretty big fine. eBay's legal department is getting a good work out.

this is a monumental case. by determining that eBay is not "just a venue", this will just open up a massive can of worms.
I guarantee that eBay will appeal that case with as much venom as they possibly can.

Thanks for the heads-up. We try to be very careful about what we sell - never thought anyone would try to nail Ebay though. Wonder if they'll ban handbags and perfume now.
