In order to make room for some great new stock coming in 2008 Etiko Fair Trade has launched a New Year clearance sale. The prices of many Bags, Bandanas, Belts, Gloves, Hats, Sarongs and Scarves have been reduced by between 10% and 33%.

Etiko Fair Trade has two new collections of stylish, practical and great value fair trade bags in stock.

A new range of hand made soft leather and suede handbags and shoulder bags in black, brown and beige, all of which feature fully lined interiors with zip pockets. These bags are produced by The Esther Benjamins Trust, which is a charity that helps homeless and trafficked children in Nepal.

We now also stock a wonderful range of canvas handbags and shoulder bags that are hand woven and dyed using natural vegetable dyes such as tea and pomegranate. These bags are produced by the Women's Skills Development Project in Nepal, which aims to employ and train those women most in need in Nepalese society.

These bags are now available in the Etiko Fair Trade shop. We will be adding more bags from these two fantastic organisations in the new year, so come back and visit us again soon.

Now that the cold weather has arrived you will be delighted to hear that Etiko Fair Trade now has the new 2007/8 range of Namaste winter Hats, Scarves, Gloves and Handwarmers in stock.

These wonderful fair trade winter warmers are all hand made in Nepal and come in a number of styles and colours, including one line made from a luxuriously soft mohair mix.

We’ve been working behind the scenes on a relaunch of the Etiko shop and listing pages for a while, and have now finalised the design and layout. We hope you agree that the new listings pages pull more information together in a clear and concise way, making it easier for our customers to quickly and easily see the item description and all the photos, and decide if our product is something you would like to buy.

 

We would also like to say many thanks to Ellie at Lilly Star Designs for all of her help (and patience) in designing the pages.
