Brain Dump - December 19, 2006 - ExtremeQ is a Blogger!

Since I am now Time Magazine's Person of the Year, I felt ashamed that I wasn't a blogger.  It seems that everyone is blogging, has blogged, have blogged or will soon blog.  Well,  ha ha, I have arrived, and  the people of the Earth shall hear my voice!  I wonder if I'm linked on the Drudge Report yet?  Now that I am finally a blogger, I find myself pondering a deeply troublesome question:  What exactly do I blog about?  This will take some thought.  I firmly believe that everyone is entitled to my opinion, and this medium may provide an outlet that will not only benefit personkind for generations, but also serve to extend my life by reducing stress.

My name is John.  I'm a 42 year old guy living in Central Florida near Daytona Beach.  I have many hobbies and interests, but I'm not particularly good at any of them.  Well, perhaps a few.  I enjoy Amateur Radio (NE4EB), DJ/Karaoke work, flying, metal detecting and most of all selling on eBay.  Oh, and I have a full time job too.  I supervise a large emergency communications center in the area.  I support my expensive hobbies and help feed my cats by turning obscene profits on eBay in a very low profile way.  It's difficult for me to carry around all of this pent up excitement without sharing my experiences with my peers, so I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and swapping stories of obscene profits, tips, tricks and such.
