Sorry I just had to vent, because these people who are bidding on my prom dresses currently are probably going to get awesome deals because I guess no one else is interested, but let me tell you every dress is beautiful and elegant in their own way! This woman and I just couldn't work together. This is the story. So you see I am new, my friends said in order for people to feel comfotable buying from me I needed to start getting points or scored from other people. They said on top of trying to sell things around my house that I didnt need or use, I should buy some cheap little items on ebay. So I did or I tried. This woman who gave me negative feedback was selling a bookmark for $1 with free shipping. I thought well that could be nice for my mom she likes to read and likes flowers, because that was what was on the bookmark, anyways when I bought it the lady messaged me saying the I will only get the bookmark if I buy a card as well. Well the cards were $2-$3+ and I was only looking to spend like a dollar per item. I told her I was trying to up my points and just wanted the bookmark. She got mad at me saying no not gonna happen here you have to earn your points. I didn't know it would offend people. I apologize, but I am a young student going to school and I was doing this to find an extra income, so I dont have to work 2 jobs and go to school. Well anyways if the lady was selling the bookmark only with the card purchase why didnt she put both in the add? She might have labeled it in her explaination of the item, but not right there together in the main part. Why couldn't she have done that? I understand I should have been more observant of the add, but still... so anyways I was trying to work it out with her, cuz I didnt want to get bad feedback, and I was going to just buy one of her cards, but she didnt respond back on where I could get one. And she wasnt returning my money or showing she shipped my item or anything so I gave her a bad review, just a little after that she showed me where I could get card but it was too late. I apologized for doing it, but I didnt think she was going to work with me anymore. She ended up returning my money and giving me bad feedback as well! So there's the story. I didn't mean to be rude to her but I felt a little scammed, because if she wanted to only sell both items together, why didnt she put both in the pic. and advertise it that way the whole time! I just wanted to explain my first experience on eBay! I have had this account for a while, but have been too afraid to use it. But now getting some help and advice from friends I am starting to sell and buy things. I didn't know there would be so many little loop holes, buying something from someone, they could say free shipping in their immediate add and then sneak in their description any item under $10 is a $5 shipping fee. I have realised you need to read all the content and carefully, because even the smallest sale could turn out to be a rip off and expensive. I really hope people think I am not doing that to them, I am trying to make good deals, and just help them find what they are looking for! Well I hope all you buyers and sellers out there, I end up doing you justice! Thanks! :) |
