I received an unexpected invitation from my son in law & his friend to join them for Breakfast at Wynn's Hotel & Casino. A real treat for me as I don't ususally leave the house on Sundays. It's my down day. All set to go, I hit the button to open the garage door & it wouldn't open. Tried several times & no luck. A quick call to a very good friend &she provided a rescue ride. Had a wonderful breakfast & my gentlemanly son-in-law paid for a taxi ride home. Not cheap by the way. In the meantime, my husband called a repair company & the job was done by early afternoon. I consider myself lucky as if I hadn't left the house, I wouldn't have known of the predicament until time to go to work on Monday. Okay maybe it wasn't so funny.  Any trapped in the garage stories, you would like to share?
