I've got a fab blog that I've been actively updating daily. Check my "ME PAGE" for details! Wanna see our new YouTube ad???Posted Feb-10-07 14:50:10 PST Louis Vuitton has
been in the trunk business since he opened his first shop in Paris on
the Rue Nueve des Capucines in 1854. His trunks were incredible back
then- and they are still amazing... works of art!
Some of our clients like their trunks untouched- with all of the evidence of their century plus travel and tales to tell: cracks, tears, gouges, patina, dust and grime. It tells a story. But many of our clients want their tired old trunks brought back to life. They've lived long and hard, and deserve to live out their existence in spectacular fashion. Jesse is able to help them out- he works his magic, to literally light up these fabulous old, trunks... I love watching the process- and thought you might too!!! He doesn't use any paint, varnish etc... just polishes & conditions and uses a bunch of elbow grease... it's pretty cool! I tried to embed the video right in my blog, but it looks like eBay doesn't like that! So here it is: The Evolution of Beauty- Louis Vuitton Style! Enjoy! Sarah Get Cash back when buying on eBay...Posted Feb-01-07 16:36:00 PST Updated Feb-10-07 14:49:25 PST Did you know that if you join Big Crumbs, you can get up to 36% of the fees that the seller has paid for the listing? You can read more about it on my Me Page... but I've only been doing this for a month or so- and I've already been paid over $75 by Big Crumbs, for purchases that I'm making! I pay eBay a ton in fees, so if you are one of my buyers, this is a way to get some of that back in your pocket! Good luck!!! Where in the world are we? Name that Boutique!Posted Nov-28-06 03:15:03 PST Updated Nov-28-06 03:23:28 PST Travel is one of the hidden perks of my business. We stop by the Louis Vuitton boutique in any city that has one- so I thought I'd play a fun little game for Louis Vuitton fans. I'll post International ones first... Name that boutique?!! (Picture below of Sarah, Izzie & Aerie in November 2006): (When you look at that round light straight on- it's an eye ball. It was too bright to get the picture that way... but this is Olafur Eliasson's "Eye See You!" mirror, glass & light sculpture. It's supposed to look like a "peering" eye. He donated the fee that he was paid for this work to 121ethiopia.org You'll see similar lamps in the store windows of 350 LV Boutiques during the Holidays...) ![]() What do I get out of the YouTube deal? You too can be a BILLIONAIRE!Posted Oct-10-06 15:31:59 PDT Updated Oct-11-06 01:41:26 PDT Ok... maybe just a 500 millionaire. In case you haven't heard- Google just bought YouTube for 1.65 BILLION DOLLARS! Chad Hurley and Steve Chen are former PayPal employees and the founders of YouTube! This site has only been really active for about a year. They are both in their 20's and you just have to watch their video announcement... Click here to watch the video... I love that! Does that not just say it all?! If they can do it, we all can!!! Apparently early on (in it's long 11 month lifespan) Sequoia Capitol came in and invested like $11 million. Roelof Botha, a partner of Sequoia Capitol was a previous CFO of PayPal... and I guess he was instrumental in making it happen. That's the quickest money they've ever seen! Incredible! Sarah |
