Archive - April 2008 Tips on Spoting "Knock-Off" Coach purses and walletsPosted Apr-04-08 16:53:24 PDT On Coach purses the C's all have to line up. You may see have already notice some fake purses around town. The one's that have the C's next to the O's. If you have the signature series; watch out for the signature band. Real Coach signature bands are off to the side, if it's leather, it's real leather and not cheap plastic. If they come with paper stuffing, make sure those have the C's on them. Fake Coach bags are sprayed with color, so the color comes off easily. The box for the wallets are usually a solid color, mainly brown with a white line bordering the cover of the box, and really thick. If you see a wallet with a blu-ish, yellowish, and white cover, it's a fake. If you buy or bid on a wallet that has a piece of paper that says COACH on it, don't bid on it or buy it. Coach is made almost everywhere in the world, but the best "knock-off" artist comes from China. It's very important to ask the seller what the serial number of the item for sale is, because every item made by Coach has a I.D#, it's like a serial number of everything that they made and they can pull it up if you ask them about it. So, please double check everything that you buy and if you have doubts, just ask me. Thank You. |
