AuctionsPosted Feb-09-08 10:01:59 PST Updated Feb-09-08 10:07:22 PST Auctions are probably the best way to advance your collecting prowess, I dont mean the Ebay one although its a pretty good one to start on, I mean the provincial ones all across the country. where you can buy pretty much anything at any price, I have had some excellent bargains at some auctions. For example 40 vanguard models for £35.00, I was the only bidder there, as Im guessing the rest of the audience at attendance hadnt a clue what they were. There are auctions every week in most towns and cities, the best way to find your local one is your local papers, or indeed have a trawl on the net. I guarantee you will not be disapointed. Just dont get carried away!! and always factor in the auction house commision + vat before you go mad which your arm! |
