Most Recent Posts So Sick of eBay.....Posted Jun-24-08 19:05:31 PDT Ebay just delisted a DVD of mine. They delisted the same DVD a couple of years ago for copyright infringment. After I wasted more time telling them that I and only I filmed the DVD in 1963, they allowed me to go through the process of listing it again. Now, the same thing again. I get so sick of this company. I am no longer a power seller because they take all the profit. Now, I list a few things and they can't even manage that. I still have an unresolved complaint that is several years old. A guy sold about ten buyers some software. He then vanished. They got us some of our money back and then just did the same thing the seller did. I get the message that I have an unresolved complaint and have been getting it for several years. Did I say that I'm sick of this company? Comment About my Book from an Austrian Prince~~Posted Feb-16-08 05:41:42 PST This is a message I received from an Austrian Prince who is an international banker and businessman: I was visiting a client in Colorado Springs, another former Air Force man such as yourself, and I noticed a copy of your book on his shelf. I mentioned that we use Six Sigma in our offices and branches. He highly recommended your book. Save a Dime on Listing Fees, Pay Lots More in the EndPosted Jan-29-08 10:13:07 PST That is the way the new MBA's get your money. Save a few cents on listing fees while the final value fees jump from 5.25 to 8.76 %. If you sell $1,000 per month, you end up paying about $35 more to eBay. Thats $420 more a year. You can get a 15% discount from the fee if you are the top seller. So you get 15% off of the 8.76 %. That reduces the final value fee to: 7.446%. They tell you that they reward good sellers by only raising the final value fee to 7.446% from an already too high 5.25%. Most sellers will be overwhelmed by the math and think they're saving. I entered the dining hall and began to eat Christmas dinner all alone. The dining hall was completely empty except for the cooks and staff. I was feeling a little sorry for myself when a civilian walked in and asked if he could join me. It was Raymond William Stacey Burr. At that time he was about half way through his hit TV series, Perry Mason, which won him two Emmy awards. What started as my worst Christmas dinner quickly became my most memorable. The great actor was familiar with my hometown. He had fished many times in the Arkansas Ozarks.
