Well I guess used means used. All in all I am pleased with the saddle bags - no cracks or big concerns; but I will need to replace the rubber grommets that rest on the mounting rail, and of course get them painted, locks changed and get a liner. My first ebay purchase was a success; but it taught me that not everyone is as detailed oriented as me and I better learn to ask questions before spending a lot of money in one place. I found out today that you can send the bags back to Harley to paint. Might have to get a price.

If I spend as much time on this trip as I am in the preparation, this will be a trip The Herd will never forget. Next week 3 of us are heading to Doug's in Florence for some bike work. I should have my hard bags in by then and know more about my search for a Tour Pak. Got to get ready, if one thing was learned this past year on the road to Chattanooga, Concord, Daytona, and Myrtle; these trips put more excitement in riding than staying close to home. The destination does add to the ride!
