I am attempting to type w/one hand cause kiki (my chihuahua) is using the other one as a pillow. From what I have heard from other bloggers, cyber Monday wasn't exactly cyberific. It was a complete and total waste of time. I had 5 items sell. 2 Mini Blind Murals, 2 bamboo wall hangings and 1 christmas ornament. I have a feeling that one of the bamboo wall hanging customers is going to be a non paying bidder. The kids go back to school this morning after a 5 day vacation and hubby went back to work this morning after a 4 day vacation. My life is actually much easier when everyone is off and there are no scheduling conflicts to deal with. oh well... Today is known as "Cyber Monday" because it is supposedly the busiest on-line shopping day of the year. We shall see what happens! Florence will be painting 2 Covered Bridge Mini Blind Murals today. The humidity should be relatively low and we are not expecting any rain so drying time should be short. I will be packing and shipping an Under the Sea sanddollar, monitoring our auctions, paying bills and doing the massive amount of laundry that has some how manifested itself (don't ya just love teenage girls). Well so much for an accurate weather forcast! It just started raining. No where on the radar did I see a single cloud! Not one weather person on 3 different channels said there would be rain this morning. Oh well.. I ordered a kitty t-shirt from jcarolek and it is absolutely adorable! Her descriptions are perfect, her shipping was fast and well packaged and I am extremely pleased! It is a perfect Christmas present for my daughter. I ordered macaroons from momnyou and they are all gone. :-) I love macaroons but I am a rotten cook. These were perfect! My daughter and I devoured them while decorating the Christmas tree! Thank you! It is 6:30 am and 52 degrees in sunny Cocoa Beach Florida. The computer had to be turned off and put away for the last 2 days in order to fit all the relatives in my townhouse. I wasn't sure what to expect when I turned it on. There was one sale and several questions about large orders of sanddollars and ornaments. The most important part of this mornings ceremonial ebay login was the wonderful feedback from jcarolek. Thank you, I am so glad you liked your Mini Blind Mural. I did everything I could think of to make sure it arrived before thanksgiving. I also want to thank you for showing it off in your blog. (The writing was excellent by the way. Kudos to you... very very well written. I felt as if I were there with you.) As far as the days activities go... It will be a quiet day for us here. No shopping, mostly cleaning up from yesterdays festivities. We have yearly passes to Universal and Islands of Adventure in orlando so we may end up there for a few hours. The only thing it will cost us is gas and toll money. :-) (we pay a flat fee for the year and go as often as we like. we love it there.) What does everyone else have planned for the day? Today is Wednesday November 22, 2006 and it is a cold 42 degrees here in sunny Cocoa Beach Florida. Yesterday was a busy day. I had that interview I talked about yesterday. I could have done orientation tonight, but with 18 people at my house to make stuffing and pies for Thanksgiving I kind of figured I should be at home so I start next wk. I shipped out 2 Mini Blind Murals, 1 was for jcarolek. I checked on her shipment status this morning and it said the tracking number was innacurate. Wonder what that means. I also listed quite a few of the blinds and such on auction and buy it now. I figured since it was only 20 cents for the fee I may as well us it to advertise. I spent about 2 1/2 hours giving my son a haircut. I think it turned out fairly well. It normally costs me $250.00 to get his hair cut so I figured I would save some money. :) By the way, he has a tremendous amount of hair and it takes the guy forever to cut it. (he does a much better job then I do) I had to cut 6 inches off if that tells you anything. Later I will see if I can find a picture to put up. Okay, I still haven't had my coffee yet so I am going to fix a cup. Sit down and chat a while. Well it is a chilly 40 degrees here in Cocoa Beach. We are under a wind chill advisory and the temp feels like 34. My cat is freaking out cause she wants to be outside, but it is too cold for her. Every night before bed my black lab mix goes outside to go potty. Last night when she came back in, she couldn't stand on her right hind leg. I have no idea what she could have done in the 2 minutes she was outside. It may be a while before I am able to get back on the blogs. I will probably be starting work at the same fast food resteraunt my 16 year old son works in. It will be the first time in ten years I will have worked outside the home. :( I dont have much of a choice. This little business venture has cost me a fortune. It is realy strange going from not worrying about money and helping others when they need it to completely broke. Oh well, life goes on. My whole point is I wont be on the blogs much if at all.
