I was bored yesterday and surfing through blogs and I came across an interesting post a friend did. She was given a letter from a friend of hers and told to blog 10 things that begin with that letter and what they mean to her. So here I am today, being given a letter of my own to blog about. My letter is "J".

1. Jungle - This word reminds me of a deployment my husband had to Colombia quite a few years ago. He brought me back a leather backpack that I keep in my closet. I love that bag...lol (ya know now to think of it I don't even know if he was in the jungle, but that's what I think of)

2. Jar - Every year we try to take at least one trip to the beach. My son & I always find ourselves scouring the beach for seashells. We always try to bring home a handful of them. Not all perfect but all beautiful. I keep them in a jar in my armoire to not only remind me of the trip but to remind me of the dangerous beauty of the ocean. All of those shells once belonged to some sea creature at one point in time but here it laid on the beach, broken, sometimes battered from the sea.

3. Jib Jab - The website with those funny cartoons about President Bush... They are so funny.

4. Jehovah's Witness - The reason why I don't feel I can ever leave my front door open during the day to let in the sunlight. Yeah I know I really shouldn't have went there but it's true... you know it is lol.

5. Jump - Reminds me of what my husband calls a job. Who jumps outta perfectly good airplanes for a living? Unless that sucker is going down I ain't jumping lol.

6. Junk Mail - Now you know I didn't win $25,000. No I don't want a free Xbox, Target gift cards, or anything else you can think of to flood my junk mail folder with.

7. Jade - This beautiful pendant I got my sister when she started doing the whole feng shui thing. Was supposed to bring her good luck.

8. Japan - Okinawa to be exact. That's where my husband is hoping to get stationed to next, I'm hoping for anywhere else but there. He tells me I'd have to sell my car before we go there, that ain't happening.

9. June - When I am supposed to be going with my sister & her family to Puerto Rico. I still haven't decided that's a good idea.

10. Jesus Christmas - Thank God this is over lol. Who woulda guess thinking of 10 words that start with "J" would be so difficult.
