Having celebrated 10 years online - with my own sites, products, eBay store, and assisting local business with their own online promotion - it seemed there was no better time to switch over to a new business mandate than this year.

Perhaps life took me seriously as the year 2008 has already shown many new beginnings. Some of which we had no control over - our existing primitive farmhouse caught fire and burned to the ground.

We are left with a gorgeous chunk of property and the desire to rebuild - this time, a log home (see our progress at www.loghometoday.com). Which also means a new decorating style will need to be adapted, sort of.

Log Cabin or Log Home Decor is very similar in style, color and product selection to my old way of decorating, country primitive. I still believe in antique signs, chunky weathered wood, barnboard (where appropriate) and heavenly scented candles throughout the home.
